How to Prevent Website Overlay on Specific Pages

Picreel lets you control the visibility of your pop-up campaigns by enabling/disabling overlays on specific pages.

By preventing an overlay on some pages, you can:

1. Limit your pop-up campaigns to the necessary pages

2. Convey your offerings to only intended visitors

To prevent the display of a website overlay on a specific page:

Step 1: In your Picreel account

  • Navigate to the ‘Campaigns’ section from the dashboard

Navigating to Campaigns

  • Move your cursor to the campaign you wish to edit and click on ‘Settings.

Selecting the exit-intent overlay to edit

Step 2: On the campaign settings page,

  • Click on the ‘Add URL’ button under ‘Basic Settings.

Adding the URLs on which you do not wish to display overlay

  • Choose does not contain or does not equal conditions from the dropdown menu.

Setting the conditions for website overlays to not show up on certain URLs

  • Specify the exact name or keywords on which you do not want the overlay to appear.

  • Click ‘Save’ to finalize your changes.

That is all about preventing overlays on certain pages.
