Personalize your popups with Picreel 2-way CRM integration

How 2-way CRM integration works

You can send an email to your list of customers with personalized links to see a popup.

When customers click on the link, they can be redirected to any URL where you set your Picreel campaign. And they see personalized popups (e.g. with their names, recently purchased products, custom discounts, and any other unique data you store in a CRM/database).

I’m using Infusionsoft as an example below.

When you’re sending a new email to a list of your customers, there’s an option to merge fields from your CRM. These are fields that can also appear on your popup!

How do you customize a link with CRM fields?

  1. Go to your Picreel design that you want to personalize. Just find your Picreel campaign in your account and hit Design next to it. 
  2. Think about what you want to personalize. In this example, I’m using NAME and PRODUCT to personalize a popup. So I use {{name}}, and {{product}} when I type in the text in the popup. It can be anything, but in {{ }}. Hit Save when you’re good. 
  3. Also visit Targeting options of your 2-way campaign. Scroll down and open Personalization tab. Check Personalize my popup with the data in my CRM. Save.




  1. Now go to your database or a CRM where you send an email to your list of customers. Paste link to your site (or where Picreel campaign is set to trigger) in the email. For example, At the end of the URL add “/?prl_name=name of the field in your CRM”. Infusionsoft uses ~Contact.FirstName~ as a name field. So I make it
  2. If you use more than one field to personalize (like I do in this example), add & sign at the end of the new custom URL and repeat the same thing for another field. For example,

    Because Infusionsoft uses ~Contact._Plan~ as a field name for my products. And Infusionsoft populates it automatically with products that my customers purchase. 

  3. Now you’ve a link that you can add to your email template and send out to your list of customers. Feel free to hide it as a hyperlink to look nice. 






Let’s assume that there’s a customer in your list. His name is Kevin. He subscribed to a Plus plan a month ago. He’ll find your email in his inbox. He’ll click on the link leading him to your created URL. And this is what Kevin see:
